Welcome to Jolie Kids! Below are the policies and terms that govern our services. By booking and using our babysitting services, you agree to the following guidelines and conditions. These policies and terms form part of the agreement between you (the client) and Jolie Kids.

1. Booking Policy

• Advance Notice: Bookings must be made at least 24 hours in advance to ensure availability.

• Emergency Bookings: Emergency bookings are defined as those made within 24 hours of the desired time. These are charged at £20 per hour and are subject to availability and the discretion of the company.

• Confirmation: Bookings are confirmed only when you receive written or verbal confirmation from us.

• Recurring Bookings: If you require regular babysitting, please discuss a schedule with us directly.

2. Payment Terms

• Rates:

  • Weekdays (5:30 PM onwards): £15 per hour

  • Weekends: £17 per hour

  • Half-term/full-day care: £18 per hour

  • Last-Minute Booking Fee: £20

  • Travel Fee: For distances over 5 miles from N17, payment for travel will be required. (Choice of public or private transport).

• Payment Methods: Payments can be made via cash, bank transfer, or other agreed-upon methods.

• Payment Due Date: Payment is due immediately at the end of the babysitting session unless otherwise agreed.

• Late Payments: Payments not received within 3 days of the session will incur a £10 late fee.

3. Cancellation Policy

• Parent Cancellation:

  • Cancellations made with more than 24 hours’ notice will not incur a charge.

  • Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the scheduled session will be charged 50% of the agreed fee.

  • No-shows or cancellations within 2 hours of the session will be charged the full session fee.

• Babysitter Cancellation:

  • In the rare event we must cancel, we will notify you as soon as possible and attempt to reschedule.

4. Late Pick-Up Policy

• Parents must return home by the agreed-upon time. If you are late, you will be charged the standard hourly rate for the additional time.

5. Health and Safety

• Allergies and Medical Needs: Parents must disclose any allergies, dietary restrictions, or medical conditions their child has prior to the first session. Please provide labeled medication and clear instructions if needed.

• Sick Child Policy: We cannot care for children with contagious illnesses (e.g., fever, vomiting, diarrhea). If your child falls ill during the session, you will be contacted immediately.

• Emergency Contacts: Parents must provide at least two emergency contacts.

• First Aid: Our babysitters are trained in basic first aid and will act in the child’s best interest during emergencies, including calling 999 if necessary.

6. Behavior and Discipline

• Approach: We use positive reinforcement and redirection techniques to manage behavior. Physical punishment or harsh discipline will never be used.

• Parental Input: We ask that parents provide guidelines for managing behavioral issues or specific house rules they wish us to follow.

• Escalation: If significant behavioral issues arise, you will be contacted to discuss the situation.

7. Confidentiality and Privacy

• All information about you, your child, and your home will be kept confidential and used only for providing babysitting services.

• Photos: Photos of your child(ren) will not be taken or shared without your written consent.

8. Liability

• While we take every precaution to ensure your child’s safety, Jolie Kids is not liable for unforeseeable incidents or accidents that occur despite reasonable care.

• Parents are responsible for ensuring their home environment is safe for childcare.

9. House Rules

• Parents are encouraged to provide clear instructions regarding house rules, including:

  • Screen time limits.

  • Dietary restrictions.

  • Bedtime routines.

  • Use of household equipment or toys.

10. Complaints and Feedback

• We value your feedback. If you have concerns or suggestions, please contact us directly at info@joliekids.co.uk.

• Complaints will be addressed promptly and professionally.

11. Agreement to Policies and Terms
